Washington Butler is a native of Puyallup who was fascinated by the arts from a young age. She was a member of choirs, competed in singing contests, and appeared in both high school and local theatre. Then she moved into Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. For one year and a half, she was Belle the princess of Beauty and the Beast.
